I am going to try to make some cookies for my sister-in-laws baby shower. I need to travel 5 hours with them and it's 4 days after we arrive. I am wondering how long fondant decorated sugar cookies will last for and what is the best way to store them. And anyother tips for a newbie would be great

lovedecorating, You shouldn't have any problem storing sugar cookies with fondant until the shower. I use Khalsteads modified NFSC sugar cookie recipe. It never fails! Put them in a storage container and cover each layer with wax paper and it will stay until the shower. Good luck! thumbs_up.gif

What if you use MMF would that work the same as regular fondant? I'm really worried that they will get soggy or the MMF will get sticky in 4 days storage time.

Thanks again

lovedecorating,
Sorry I haven't been on in a while. If you still need to know, it should work the same. I never had an issue. I hope that helps! icon_smile.gif
