How do I fix a water mark on fondant? Obviously, it would help if I didn't get water on the fondant but occasionally a drop will accidently fall on the fondant and I can never get the water mark off and if I don't catch it in time, it seems to make a 'hole' in the fondant. Anyway to fix this when it happens or is it something that I'll have to deal with and try to cover up? Thanks! Michele

You can disolve a bit of fondant in the colour of the dent, make a thick paste and smear on using a finger. Use some icing sugar to dry and polish

If you catch it when it's wet, dab it liberally with cornstarch right away and it will usually go away without leaving a mark.
