I would like to make some butterflies for the tops of cupcakes and was just wondering what kind of cutter/embosser gets the best results.
Have you ever used one?
The PME butterfly cutter is a good one, embosses as well as cuts and come in 3 sizes.
I plan on buying this cutter next time I have to make a cake with butterflies. I used just a plain butterfly cookie cutter from Michael's and a leaf veiner for the wings. It worked okay since the cake was pretty last minute but I will purchase the PME cutter next time. I have heard great reviews on them.
I have the patchwork butterfly cutters too and I like them. They have several different sizes.
