Red Mmf Does Not Have Any Stretch?

I made some Red MMF but it doesn't have any stretch. When I roll it out and try to put on my cake it just tears. I used Rhonda's Ultimate MMF recipe and it works fine for white, but not so much for a lot of color.

Is there a better recipe or can I salvage what I have? Is glycerin better for stretch over corn syrup?
