I made the Summer's Scratch Strawberry Cake and it came out so chewey and dense, didn't cook in the middle and the middle collapsed after it cooled. I used oil sprayed flower nail as heat core and wrapped wet towel around the pan. I always make scratch cake, so pretty familiar with the basic scratch baking techniques. Can you give me a hand with finding out what did I possibly do wrong?
... if the middle wasn't cooked completely, it's understandable that the cake would fall during cooling. ![]()
