It likely will unless you make your fondant reallly thick. Perhaps try white chocolate - that's what I would do!

Thats what i thought, dh is a big chocolate fan so maybe i will us the chocolate for the filling and then regular on the outside.

No. If you want to make sure, the family tree picture in my photos is light tan fondant covering dark chocolate ganache.
