Does anyone know if it is possible to bake 4 trays (48 cupcakes) at a time? 2 trays on one rack and 2 on the other?
I have to make 300 cupcakes and I am trying to decide if it is best to do one at a time or make it easier to make 4 rounds of 48 cupcakes.
It will depend on your oven. And the best way you will know is to test it yourself.
My suggestion though is to also rotate your pans halfway through. Take the ones from the top shelf and put them on the bottom and bottom ones go on the top. This helps if you have an oven that heats unevenly. Unless you have a convection oven, then you won't need to do this.
