Hello Ladies & Gents,

When painting with luster dusts and petal dusts, what is the ratio of alcohol to dust?

Thanks in advance!

what ever you want it to be, what ever look you are going for. id start with less dust more alcohol, test it, and see how it looks.

the deeper the coverage the more dust you use to alcohol. If you are looking for more water color look then use more liquid and less dust.

When you say alchohol, what type do you use? liquor type or rubbing alchohol? I need to paint a Dead Skeleton with roses for a grooms cake. Wish me luck!

vjthedj,

you can't use rubbing alchohol. Use Vodka, as it has no taste.
