I use two cups sugar, 2/3 cup light corn syrup and 3/4 cup water
cook on med until sugar is dissolved.. then cook to 300 degrees. I pull it of the stove and set it in a pan filled with cold water to stop the process then I keep it in the oven at 425 degrees while I make bottles. You can pour it and let it drain back into the glass oven safe pitcher and let that sit in the oven while your bottle sets.. I only have one mold so I have to go through this process.. Good luck!

i made a mold with a liquid rubber latex, i used 1/2 cup white corn syrup with 1/2 cup sugar.
there is always extra left over after pouring in the bottle, if you use it all or put too much it will all sink to the top of the bottle and the topo becomes solid which make a colour diffrence in the bottle. it also takes longer to cool when there is more.
and NEVER put it in the freezer to cool faster!!!!
good luck
