It's very slow and it is very cookie cutter for designing. I bought it years ago , played with it once and was very dissapointed. Sketching is much better.
i sketch briefly at the consult and then work up a 3-D design once I'm back home and have a few minutes, then I email that to the bride and change anything they want until it looks like what they want and then I print it out and staple it to their contract. Some people have a lot of trouble visualizing what they want and this REALLY helps!!

check out this thread, I attached several photos of the "computerized cake" and the "actual cake" after the fact. I'm happy with the program!
