Refrigerating Ganache?

I wanted to make a cake for my moms birthday and I was going to make a chocolate cake with ganache and then covered in MMF. Now I know that fondant is not supposed to be refrigerated, but if i put ganache in it will I have to refrigerate it?

What do you mean fondant can't be refrigerated? I refrigerate ALL my cakes after covering them and never had anything bad happen to them. I have my fridges on the warmest setting to prevent cake sweat.

As for genaches it can easily be covered by fondant.

No, you don't have to, but I also refrigerate all my cakes. icon_lol.gif
