Help! Anniversary Cake Ideas Needed!

I'm making a surprise cake for my boyfriend for our anniversary and I'm having a bit of bakers block. 
He really enjoys chocolate so i thought about doing a chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling but it seems a bit boring. Especially if I did a chocolate frosting. Any ideas?
How about a cake like his favorite candy bar? All the men in my family go crazy for a Reese's PB cake that I make. I add chopped Reese's to the batter, and I make a PB ganache for the frosting and filling. Plenty of chopped Reese's in between the layers too. Or a Snickers cake?
