How do I get Satin Ice Fondant on my cake without elephant skin?????

I would knead a little more shortening into the fondant first or you can put it on the cake and wipe the fondant with a paper towel that has shortening on it too.

There have been a few threads about the problems with SI lately. I also suggest using some shortening.
