Check out the large racks by Wilton. I have 2 and use them for both cakes & cookies - they are perfect and not too expensive.

I bought one of the large cooling racks and really love it. But, before I made this purchase, I connected my smaller racks together using twistie ties and/or rope and secured it with a stick so it didn't bend in the middle. Had to get a little creative with it but it did work!
I have the large Wilton cooling grid and mine still works perfectly. The most I ever have on it is a 9 x 13 pound and a 6 inch or a couple layers of 8 or 9 inch pans. I've had it at least 4 years.
Maybe it would sag if I used it constantly for much larger cakes? Doesn't seem like it would though!
Why not use your oven racks?
I do believe she answered that in her opening post! ![]()
I thought of using my oven racks but was concerned that the rungs on the rack might be too far apart.
