First off, I live in Australia so this makes it harder for me to get the proper mini cupcake inserts. I was quoted $152.65USD in postage alone from brpboxshop, and while I'm sure their inserts are exactly what I need, I cannot justify spending that much! I have also checked Ebay and that works out even more expensive (it would cost me over $7 per box with insert
)
So.. how else can I package them so my customers can easily transport them? At the moment I am selling them in lots of 3 dozen, and simply sitting them in a cake box that is 10x10. However a lot of people would prefer to buy them in 2 dozen lots instead. Which size cake box do you think will work?
Or do you have any other ideas on how to box them up?
Thanks in advance ![]()
well, googling turned up:
http://www.bakewaredirect.com.au/Cupcakes/Cupcake-Box-BD
http://cakedeco.com.au/whatsnew.asp
http://www.packagingplace.com.au/_catalog_48304/Cupcake_Boxes
and here's a search:
http://www.google.com/search?q=plastic+food+containers+australia&btnG=Search&num=30&hl=en&newwindow=1&safe=off&client=firefox-a&hs=SYJ&rlz=1R1GGLL_en___US359&sa=2
the trick was adding Australia to the search words
cupcake boxes Australia <<example
Thanks Doug
I checked those places out, however the "mini" cupcake inserts we sell here are too large for the mini cupcakes.
