Looking For A Pic... Cupcake Cake

Hi all! I've been searching for pics of cupcake cakes... not the kind that are frosted to look like one big cake, but ones that are frosted individually in different colors and put together to make a picture.
I'd like to try this but need some direction. Does anyone know of any pics or patterns or directions?

I think I saw what you are talking about a couple of times on DC Cupcakes...they did some kind of Greek painting in cupcakes and then the Women's Roller Derby logo....they began by putting a pic on a grid and counted squares to know how to make and place the cupcakes....they both looked great.....
