I am trying to replicate my daughter's party invitation of 3 cats sitting, facing forward with party hats on. I know with a line drawing I can trace and copy but this is an actual picture and the ideas are not connecting in my head! Any suggestions would be sooooo very helpful! I need this by Jan 26th, 2007.... icon_cry.gif
Thanks in advance!!!!

Can you post the pic so we can see it? I have photoshop and depending on the pic, it has a filter that will let you turn a photo into a drawing. (doesn't always work great though)

I would be willing to try for you if you post it. : )

You know, I was thinking about that but wasn't sure it would work. I am not sure I can get the pic online, my scanner isn't working right. I will try maybe Sunday, I don't think I can do it before then. I am trying to think of a way to make fluffy white kitties with icing that would look right. The face and all else shouldn't be too difficult it's just the actual bodies that are throwing me off!!!!

Thanks, I'll let you knwo how it goes!

Well, here are directions for piping a dog and some laying-down pigs...Maybe that will help some.

possibly a FBCT or better yet a chocolate transfer.

use that to get basic shapes and colors and then can paint on details w/ food color or melted chocolate

I did see the Wilton site, may try that but I just wanted to do a transfer and make flat white (fluffy looking) kitties out of buttercream. I know this has to be very simple and I am just making it waaaay too difficult! I can't draw but am thinking I could just freehand and fill it in. I feel I can do the face and ears with no problem, it's just the bodies....

FBCT???? Not sure I know what you are referring to. I have never done a chocolate transfer. I have done the royal icing, same concept I guess????

Thanks for the ideas!
