I am wondering what is the best way to store a cake prior to frosting. making a smaller cake that I plan on frosting and decorating the day after baked what is the best way to keep it moist and yummy? just seran wrap it?
Yep, plastic wrap it up. If it is small enough I will put them in my cake saver.
best to wait until fully cooled?
I do, if i am in a hurry I wait until pretty cool then wrap. I have seen people says they wrap when warm to keep more moisture in, but I would think all that condensation would make is mushy.
