Any ideas? I hate making people out of fondant or anything for that matter, so a bunch of people standing in a cricle outside of a village is out. Why couldn't the Mom just be happy with Elmo???? I need some suggestions ASAP! icon_cry.gif

Can you make just one baby figure and a bunch of little homes surrounding the baby?

I have an odd sense of humor. I hand draw on all of my cakes so all I saw was a drawing of the village people doing the YMCA with an infant. I make my self giggle. That's all that counts, right?

Does it have to be 3-dimensional people? What about flat cookie cutter people in different colors going around the side of the cake. I think that would work, and then you don't have to worry about faces or clothes or anything. HTH
