Once upon a time I posted something a month late, not knowing there were rules to this and I got reamed bigtime! icon_confused.gif Thankfully some of them have since left CC but I'm not taking ANY chances! icon_cool.gif

You know what? That just seems sad to me.... To me, the point of the monthly cookie club is to have fun, be creative, and be inspired. I don't see why that should be limited to the 30 or so days of one month. There is nothing in the current "guidelines" to prohibit it.

It's not *my* group, and even though I start the threads each month I don't by any means think I should have the final say, so why don't we see what the consensus of the group is? Do you like the idea? Would anyone be opposed to letting people continue to post to the monthly cookie thread even if the month is over? What do you think cookie club? let's hear your thoughts....

I'm not opposed to it, but I am concerned about stepping on toes. I try not to but I refuse to walk on eggshells around people too. I figure if I'm respectful that goes farther than anything. I like the way Bonniebakes runs the cookie club, I find it very inspirational. But if the consensus says "end of May, that's it" then I'll respect that decision too. Just know that this August club posting was a fluke due to unforseen circumstances with the CC photo glitch and certainly not intended to offend anyone. icon_biggrin.gif

I think it'd be fine to post late, if need be. I missed a month a while back because I had to rush to my daughter's bedside. Someone this month already said that they'll probably not be able to participate because they'll be out of town. So, I think it's a great idea to let people share their creations whenever they can.

I personally like the idea of being flexible and letting people post late. Maybe not months and months late, but I don't see why someone would object to seeing a contribution to the club a couple weeks past the deadline. It's not like we're being graded!
