does any body know how to make the flowers in this cake?

It says that they are pastillage flowers, so I going to guess that they are painted after they have dried.(?) Good Luck!

You could make them with gumpaste. Find two sizes of a similiar cutter, cut two shapes for each, set on a thick foam pad, then on the reverse side, use the ball tool to make an indentation in each petal. On the smaller flower that goes on top, make an indentation in each petal on the reverse side, then flip it over and make an indentation in the center. Let the pieces dry before you glue them together. Then paint, and add the black centers. Depending on what you want, you can make a small ball of gumpaste and snip it all over with scissors, or just make a ball and indent it with a round tip all over for texture.
