Can I Color Isomalt With Gel Colors?and A Few Other ?

I just bought a bag of Isomalt.How do I color it?I want an Emerald Green.Can I use my gel colors or do I have to use candy colors?
Do I have to prepare my candy mold before pouring them in?Also what temp do I cook the isomalt to,I have a candy Thermometer.
