was there a thread about putting nutella in buttercream not to long ago it can be done right? would i reduce anything or just add in in. would it make the buttercream thinner? TIA

I add it in to taste, then if needed add additional liquid a tinnnnnny bit at a time until the consistency is correct.
I love that stuff!!

I mix nutella in to buttercream and it works great. I rarely need to alter the liquid, but I do add a little bit on occasion

thanks guys, my kids love that stuff they could eat it by the spoonfull. and i will try it in the buttercream,should`t matter if the buttercream is a crusting one right?

I used it in a noncrusting BC and it was delish!! Well, I used what I had left considering I kept tasting spoonfuls. I had never had it until recently and I was like, "Dear, Sweet Nutella, where have you been all my life?" LOL Enjoy.
