I want to use a no bake cheesecake for filling in a wedding cake. I was wanting to make it all ahead of time and freeze it. Does it have to be thawed before I frost it? If the wedding is at 7pm, what time would be good to start decorating it? Very simple decorations with real flowers on top.
Also, I just bought my first set of crystal cascading stands (tubes and Plates) has anyone had problems with the cake falling over or off of these things?
Thanks

I am assuming you want to put the whole cake together and freeze. I would set the cake out for a little while before icing. When the cake starts to thaw it will let off moisture, if you are using b/c it will eventually dry, it could develop air pockets or buldges, in which case you would need to prick the pocket with a pin or toothpick. I would definitely make sure you have a b/c dam around your filling to hold it in, this will eliminate the mid buldges between your layers, let the layers sit awhile before freezing so the weight of the cake will settle. Those stands are very sturdy, just make sure you don't put a 10 or 12 inch on the 6 in one, it is usually set-up with the tallest column, so you would be taking a chance with the weight. Hope this helps.

My most requested filling is no bake cheesecake and raspberry filling you can fill your cake freeze it and to thaw keep it covered until it is completly thawed or you will have lots of moisture.
