Best Way To Do The Brick On This Building?
Decorating By cakesrock Updated 22 Jul 2010 , 2:03am by cakesrock
I want to make a cake for my BFF's b-day. She is a big "Coronation Street" fan and I am thinking of doing the Rovers return inn. What would be the best way to do the brick on this building??
I have a brick impression mat, but would I sponge the fondant or try to marble it?? Or is there a better way??
TIA

yes -- do both -- marble it and also sponge it to get best effect.
some sites to look at:

remember blank fondant is like a blank wall or canvas
(marbling would be the equiv of the first base coats)
