Having A Manic Week With Cake Boards (Of All Things)!

I usually cover my cake boards with RI, flood style. This week I have done the same board 4 times! I did the first one and someone stuck their finger through it before it was done drying grrrrr..

So I thought I would just cover it with another thin layer. I recovered, but it ended up with water spots? WTH?

Then I tried to cover it again, but while it was drying the board started to bow from all the coats of RI. So I had to scrap it and start over.

So I just covered a brand new one and I pray that it dries by Thursday, because I have to draw a skull on it.

Sheesh I have never had so much trouble with cake boards in my life. Thanks for letting me vent guys!

Isn't it nice that we can come here to share each others' joys and frustrations? I feel your pain and I wish you luck on try #4!
