Hi all icon_biggrin.gif

Question: How long does chocolate mousse last in between layers of a chocolate cake? Does it soak in after awhile? Can I make the cake the night before with mousse inbetween the layers and still be certain the cake will taste and look delicious the next day?

how are you making your mousse? I use pastry pride and chocolate pudding and it holds up very well, even not refridgerated for up to 5 hours.

I use cream based mousse or whipped ganache and I always fill at least a day before- it makes the cake more moist and it holds up well
