I`m trying to find or produce an Icing not like buttercream or 7 minute frosting. The one I´m looking for is some that can stand at room temperature for more than 2 days and will not melt, giving a perfect structure to decorate over Cupcakes.
"Done with easy to find ingredients"

How about ganache? And, I know you said not buttercream . . . but have you tried IndyDebbi's recipe? It's quite sturdy and durable (in a good way)!
