Help Please! Is There A Way To Make Silver Colored Icing?

I don't have an air brush, is there any other way to make silver buttercream frosting? How about silver fondant? I would appreciate any help!

One option is to make the fondant white or light gray and then paint it with silver petal dust...just mix that with vodka and paint....

I would colour the icing grey then spray with pearl lustre dust. I found these aerosol cans of luster spray. The brand I use is PME, on the can it reads PME lustre spray. The colour Pearl will give you silver if you spray lots. It's like a little can of hairspray and it was my answer to not having an airbrush.

Thank you! I have tried to "paint it with the pearl dust and vodka but it always looks streaky.
Where do you find your luster spray? That sounds like a good idea too!
