Whenever I use Black Satin Ice fondant, it ALWAYS cracks! I put a ton of shortening in it. It's soft and pliable as it's going on, but let it sit for a few minutes and you get cracks everywhere. Am I doing something wrong? Is there another trick out there that I don't know about? I usually make my own MMF, but use the black Satin Ice because I can never get a good black color in MMF. If anyone has any other ideas on how to stops the cracks, I'd love to hear them. Thanks!
