I am making a graduation cake for a girl who is going to school to be a physicians assistant, however, growing up she always wanted to be a pig farmer! Her mother really wants me to incorporate both of these into the cake. Having a decorators block!
Any ideas will be much appreciated....

Dress the animals up in little white coats.. I'm being serious here..lol My nephew and his wife have a baby shower coming up on Aug 7th. They told me they want sports and animals on the cake.. EHHH? SERIOUSLY? So I decided to make little jerseys for the animals and have them playing basketball..

Going the other direction, you could do one of those scrub-top cakes and make the scrubs have pigs in the design.

Or you could do a sick/ injured cartoon pig with a crutch and a thermometer in his mouth, and water bottle on the head, etc.

Ooooh -- could you do something with a piggy bank? Maybe that says "college fund" on it...? Could do it sitting on top of a stack of books with titles related to her studies?

how about something with a stethoscope with the round part a pig snout?

Do a 3D pig in a doctors coat- scope around neck, pens in pocket- you can use one of those bear pans to get a starting shape and then ice it. Or carve it. I like the piggies dressed up idea too.
Or maybe have her doing house calls to the pig pen...she's not a vet but using the comparison. The cake is the 'sty' and she is a little figurine with a sick little pig laying belly up in the muck...on second thought maybe not so appetizing!
