Rotating Cake Idea?

I was wondering if anyone had ever put a motor or something under the base to make it rotate as it sits? if so what do you use and how do i do it?

one simple method is to cannibalize an old turntable.

the big problem is the weight of the cake.

they do make display turntables for heavy objects -- special order and big $$ on the internet.
