I have an order for a cake for a man who is getting married, moving away, and leaving his job all at once.
I don't want to do a wedding cake or a suitcase, just something simple and elegant, yet masculine. And while I enjoy working in fondant, the people that will be eating the cake don't enjoy eating it so much, so non-fondant decorations would be best. A little fondant as accents wouldn't be bad though.
Any ideas? TIA!
How about a cake that looks like the board game LIFE? That really covers it!
People that eat my cakes now have no problems eating fondant; I only ice my cakes in bc (haven't gotten around to an all fondant cake yet) and I roll my fondant (for decorations) real thin like the stars and stripes on this cake.

If you want to be really cryptic how about a few round cakes decorated as quarters, dimes, nickels etc. Get it? Change. LMAO
Good one!
