when i look at this cake, it seems that the bottom tier is just a little bit bigger than the top. but not so much that it's an entirely different size pan. so, do you think they trimmed the top down a little or made the fondant thick on the bottom? OR, are my eyes playing tricks on me and they are both the same?
I think they baked a 6" cake and a 7" cake.
Or a 7" cake and an 8" cake.

It could be an 1 in difference in the sizes. Such as a 6/7 or 8/9?
