I need to make 8 to 10 inch people for a cake. I know I need some wires or sticks of some kind for support. Can anyone advise what to use? Or where to buy forms already made? I tried just putting flower wires, but not sturdy enough to stand up. Any tutorials? Thanks

You can use a combo of wires and dowels for the supports.

Thanks Fullhouse. Do you know where I can find a template? or photo of what the initial support would look like? How to tie it together? My grandson wants Woody!! icon_smile.gif

Sorry, I only just saw your post now. I'm sure it's too late, but anyway...

I don't know of any templates, maybe searching the forums for figure sculpting might come up with something. I would really just play with it as I go, kind of making like a stick figure type structure and go from there.

I've only done sculpted figures once. The Mario cake in my photos. It didn't turn out too bad and I just looked at photos of the figures and went from there. icon_lol.gif Good luck. thumbs_up.gif
