I have just made a gutsy move from Miami, Florida with a stable high school chemistry teacher job, to Las Vegas, Nevada in pursuit of becoming a pastry chef. After I get some experience, I plan to move on to The Culinary Institute of America to get even more training. I made the move to Las Vegas to gain experience from well trained pastry chefs, but I am growing weary that I will not find a job to gain this experience. Any tips on getting my foot in the door? I had a small cake business back home, but that is the extent of my experience thus forth. Thanks for any advice! ![]()
