I am doing a Belle princess barbie doll cake in yellow fondant. How do I do the gloves?

Just thinking outside the box here...

Could you dip the arms in thinned royal icing??

I was going to suggest dipping in melted candy melts, but royal would work too!

Thanks guys - good ideas! I think the challenge will be matching the colors, as I used so many different yellows in my concoction. I actually tried to use fondant (as I have seen some in the galleries) and that did not work well!

You can do fondant on just the arms (but not the fingers) and it looks just as good - here's an example on the best doll cake I've ever seenicon_smile.gif
