Torso Cake.. How Do I Get The Abs?

I didnt post the pic of what Im trying to make because I wasnt sure if I could.. but Im making a female torso cake.. how do I get the abs on the cake? I plan to cover it i fondant.. do I just dent in the fondant a little bit?

yes, could just dent the fondant.

or lay thick pieces of fondant (or chocolate candy bar pieces!!!) on top of cake (chocolate of course) then cover with sheet of fondant for a more pronounced effect.
