I got a request to make a quarter (1/4) sheet cake. I don't typically do sheet cakes but that's what this person wants. What should I charge?? I just started making cakes for people so I'm still a little unsure of cake prices. I normally do tierred cakes.
Are you doing a single layer or double layer? What is the size of your sheet cake? How many servings is it? How much do you charge per serving?
How much will it cost you to make the cake? How much do you want to make off the cake?
Charge your normal price per serving - whether its square, round or a rectangle its still the same amount of work.
