Ok, this may be a silly question.
When you purchase foil cupcake liners they come with white liners separating them. I always thought these were just to make it easier to separate them. A co-worker recently left these in the foil liners and used them that way. And now I noticed a cupcake photo uploaded that did the same thing. I have always used just the foil liner.
What does everyone else do?

I use it just as it comes in the package, white liner and all.
