I have a wedding cake request for next month and they want a realistic looking peacock feather on it. any recommendations on how to make an eadible peacock feather?
Where do they want it?
Alot of cakes use actual real feathers inserted into a small straw or something.... or piped abstract feathers on the cake....??
What design are they looking for?
I did a peacock cake in buttercream and piped abstract ones on it but then topped it with real ones. (In photos)
You might want to take a look at Earlene Moore's website. She has a flyer you can purchase for instructions on making turkey feathers and bullets. It's very creative and I believe it's made out of rice paper and an edible marker. Earlene Moore is extremely creative and if you have the opportunity to take a class or demo from her you won't be disappointed.
