I have been asked to recreate this cake using fresh orchids-

does anyone know what type of orchids these are? are they food safe?

Dendrobium. Don't know if it's food safe. I only make them out of sugarpaste.

ok thank you! I am planning on purchasing them at a health food store where they don't use pesticides on their flowers, and posey picks to set them in.
I'd love to learn how to make the sugar variety...
