I am making a lemon popyseed cake for a customer.How much poppyseeds do I add to one Lemon mix without it being too much or too stingy? 1 cup...1/2 cup?

I use 2 heaping tablespoons per doctored mix. icon_smile.gif

I'd start with 1 tablespoon and see how it looks. Then add more until it seems like enough. It really doesn't take a lot.

I love lemon poppy seed muffins and like a lot of poppy seeds in them.
I would use a 1/2 cup seeds to one mix & add more if I thought it needed

Hi! My recipe for two 8" rounds calls for 3 tablespoons. But I agree that you can start with 1 and add until it "looks right", too. thumbs_up.gif

I add them like I add sprinkles to confetti cake.......shake em' in......stir..........see if it looks right, add more.....etc...........I'm VERY scientific you know?? lol
