After seeing a cabbage cake done by JankaT, I thought it was the perfect cake for my mother in law (she's a farmer). 
We made it last year.
I was helped by one of my daughters, whose hands you can see on most pictures. Mine are just the ones making the big leaf.
In the end she added lots of catterpillars (she was 7 back then) but I forgot to take a final picture. 
It was pound cake, covered with MMF
