I have a wedding cake to do in July and it will be buttercream icing with polka dots. What can I make the polka dots out of?

Fondant or modeling chocolate. Use a little bit of BC to stick them on.

The dots can be buttercream too if you like. Just pipe them on. I like to make polka dots out of fondant using different sizes of piping tips. This way you get a perfectly round shape.
