I need to make one of these for Sat. July 3rd. I can't find the Wilton one anywhere right now. I've seen the silicone one "as seen on TV" brand. Has anyone ever used this. Or am I better off baking 4in cakes and carving them? Need opinions.

Thanks,
Karen

You probably have time to order the pan on-line if you'd rather not carve.

Wilton pan is available at Target online (or maybe call local store if one is near you)

I own this pan. I bought mine at Michael's...but I've also seen it at Wal-Mart, JoAnn's, and Target recently.

I have the silicone pan and like it much better simply because one side is always done before the other side and you can take that half out of the oven when it is done. I also used the bottom to make a candy shell for the bottom of the cupcake and it really worked out well. I sold my Wilton one, I like this one much better.
