I was hoping for a good gunmpaste recipe from someone! Everytime I make gumpaste it never seems to work very well and ends up looking terrible and cracking! Does anyone have a recipe that produces a nice looking non crackled and wrinkled finish? Thank-you!

Google the Nicholas Lodge gumpaste recipe, or go to Edna's website for it. I made it on Edna's suggestion, and it works really, really well.

Kay, I just successfully made a batch yesterday and have a storage question. The directions say to keep the gp in the refrigerator when not using, and I'm wondering if that applies to the small amountI plan to use over the next couple of days. Should I put that in the refrigerator at night and pull it out first thing in the morning to warm up, or can a small amount of the gumpaste be safely left out overnight?
