Need Some Advise To See If I'm Doing Ok!!

I'm going to attempt to stack my first three tier cake. It's also a "crooked cake" I can't find the post, but I used a method I found on here to cut the cakes diagonal and put together after the fondant. The first tier will be a 10 inch round cake that is not "crooked" The 2nd tier is one 8x3 cake and one cut 8x2 cake. The 3rd tier will be 2 6x2 with one cut crooked. I plan on putting 4 dowels through the first and 2nd tiers. Then one through the entire cake when I'm done. Does that sound good enough? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I tried to put as much detail about the cake as I could remember!!
