Not unusual for the time of year. Wedding cake season in full force, vacations for families, and of course, the weather is nice - for those who don't have cakes to do, they're outside!
It is always slower this time of year. I have been here since '05 and see it every year.

Not only wedding season. I work at a grocery store and it's super busy not with wedding cakes, but graduation cakes. The weekend before last we did about 500 orders. Last weekend was a good 300-400. This weekend is going to be in the 300 range I'm sure.
When i get home I barely have enough energy to eat let alone check out the forums for anything I can chat about.
