I have to make a large cougar coming down off a rock. I plan to make the body and head RK and cover in fondant. but I am concerned about the strengh and support. any ideas on how to keep this RK figure strong and supported while it is climbing off a rock???

I don't know how you feel about putting wires in your decorations (obviously no one wants to put them directly into cakes), but what would you think of making kind of a wire "skeleton" for its back legs and backbone going all the way up into the head? Leave the wires sticking out of the legs so you can sink them into the rock it's supposed to be jumping off of (inside a couple of straws, of course). HTH.
